Perfect Sentiments take a photo of every basket shipped and/or delivered. We will send the photo to the person who purchased the basket so that they can see what was delivered. This is only done if the purchaser is not able to see the basket before delivery. Please be advised that this is purely a courtesy practice and we will not allow the purchaser to change the basket after the photo is sent. We are not sending the photo for the purchaser’s approval, merely to allow the purchaser to see their purchase.
Perfect Sentiments is a custom gift basket business. Since our gift baskets are all custom made and the items inside have been specifically sourced for that order, we do not give refunds. Perfect Sentiments goes to great efforts to provide the highest quality product in our baskets. We source nuts, fruits, cheeses, and other perishable products as close to the pick up or delivery date as possible. Best by dates and other expiration notifications are closely adhered to.
We do not accept returns or give refunds for perishable products, such as fruits or cheeses. However, we do wish our customers to express their concerns if they have issue with the quality of these products. Please call or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues.
If one of our baskets has arrived and is not up to your standards, or is not the one ordered, please email us a photo with order information. We will refund the price of basket to purchaser or send a replacement, if and only if, we determine an issue with it, or an incorrect order has been shipped.
The basket and all of its contents must be returned with its original wrapping unopened. The customer assumes the cost of the return delivery, unless we are found at fault for issue. Then the return delivery will be reimbursed. Perfect Sentiments strives to take every precaution to package our products/baskets so that they can be shipped to our clientele in a satisfactory manner. We do not take responsibility for damage or harm occurring to a basket or products once they have left our facility.
Perfect Sentiments Gift Baskets is not as of yet licensed to sell alcohol. We cannot purchase alcohol for our customers, but if you wish to bring in any of these items we will gladly place them in your basket for you.
We will gladly include any personal items you wish to have in your basket order. If you have a card, a note, a special item, or products you have sourced, you are welcome to bring them in and we will place them in your basket while putting it together for you.
Basket orders can be picked up at our pick up location, 823 Alverstone Street, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Friday. You can pick up on Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

How Long Does An Order Take To Fill?
The timing involved with filling a basket order will vary due to the nature of the contents of the baskets that are ordered. A standard basket may be fabricated the same day of your order or may take a bit more time to complete. The time it takes to fabricate a basket varies on the availability of its contents and how long it may take to source them if it contains specialty or custom items.
We will endeavor to have our baskets ready for you as quickly as possible, when you place your order we will give you an approximate time when you can expect it to be delivered or picked up. You may request a specific time for delivery and we will try our best to make it possible. If it is not, we will inform you.
Monday to Friday – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Any delivery within Winnipeg City limits is $12.00. Perfect Sentiments will hand deliver these orders to their recipients. Our delivery hours are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Fridays. If needed we can schedule special delivery times during the evenings and after hours, but these must be requested and arranged with enough time for us to make sure they are feasible.
We will not deliver to students at High Schools. Any deliveries made to teachers will be done before 2:00 pm. Deliveries made to teachers or school administrators must be cleared with the school being delivered to, please inquire with the school as to whether they accept deliveries to their staff members during school hours.
We will always call the recipient of the basket to guarantee they are available at the address given. We always request permission to deliver, especially with hospitals and businesses. If you are intending the basket to be a surprise we ask that you either pick up the basket yourself or have it delivered to an address where someone other than the recipient may accept the basket on their behalf.
We will not deliver a Rainbow Basket to a person’s place of work or a public place. Sadly, due to malicious persons, we are very careful when delivering these gift baskets. If, at any point, a member of our staff feels uncomfortable or threatened during the delivery of a Rainbow Basket, they will cease the service and return to the store. The delivery fee will not be refunded. Please understand, we take great measures to make sure that recipients and our delivery staff are not victimized.
When we deliver a basket we always ask that the person accepting the delivery signs for the item. We will never leave a basket on a door step. It must be accepted by someone at the address it is delivered to.
You can request to have a photo of the recipient holding the basket taken when we deliver it. We can email it to you at the end of the day. However, you must contact the recipient and notify them of this request. Before delivery you must let us know if the recipient is willing and have made arrangements for this. We will not photograph anyone without their permission.
We do not hand deliver on Holiday dates, except for Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Your order will be delivered the next possible business day if it is placed on a high volume Holiday date. Hand delivery is possible on Saturdays and Sundays with special arrangements. If not, it will occur on the following Monday.
Perfect Sentiments operates on a store policy that we always call the recipient the day of delivery to make arrangements for the most convenient time for it to be delivered. If the recipient is not available at the prearranged delivery time when our driver arrives at the address we will leave notice that the delivery was attempted.
Perfect Sentiments will advise the person sending the basket of this event. It will be at the discretion of the sender to resend their order and at that time a new delivery fee will be administered. If we deliver to a business and the basket is turned away due to unavailability of recipient the same terms apply as with residential deliveries.
If we are not able to contact the recipient, it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the recipient is available for delivery acceptance. Please do not request we leave the gift basket anywhere on your property or on the front door step. We refuse to leave any goods unattended and will not refund the delivery fee it there is a sign left requesting us to do so. The basket will be returned to our store until the recipient or the person ordering the basket wishes to make other arrangements. We will not refund the purchase price or the delivery fee if there is not a person to accept the delivery.
We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. In the case where an incorrect delivery address is provided, we will charge an additional delivery fee for re-delivery. The customer assumes responsibility for entire purchase.
Change Or Cancel of Order
Changing an order is possible within 1 hour of placing an order. Once the basket has been fabricated the order cannot be changed or cancelled. The customer assumes responsibility for the complete cost of the order if they cancel once the basket has been fabricated.
Refusal of Delivery
If the recipient refuses delivery of product the customer the purchaser will not be refunded for the cost of basket and delivery.
Perfect Sentiments reserves the right to substitute a seasonal or unavailable product with an equal or greater value product. We will strive to preserve the theme, category, and “feel” of the basket with a similar replacement. For example; if the silk flowers in a basket seen online are not available for any reason we will endeavor to substitute them with similar kind and color. Some hospitals do not allow for certain items, like latex balloons. A foil balloon may be substituted instead.
Customer Referral Program
If you refer a friend and they purchase a basket you will get 10% off your next basket purchase. Make sure your friend mentions your name in order to receive the discount. The customer referral and loyalty programs cannot be combined and used for the same basket purchase. We will only allow this discount the first time a specific friend notifies us of your referral. You can receive a discount once per friend, but we do not combine the referrals in a cumulative manner. You can only receive %10 off per basket, per visit/order, per friend.
Customer Loyalty Program
If you purchase 6 baskets you will receive 10% off the next basket purchase.
Every customer who wishes may request to be a Special Client and be added to our Customer Registry. The Customer Registry is a database that contains all of your purchases (from the moment of sign-up) and logs all of your personal likes/dislikes. We send you a questionnaire in which we ask for information like your favorite color, past times, favorite flowers, etc. so that friends and family can order custom gift baskets for you. We create gift baskets geared towards your likes, interests, etc.
The registry takes the worries and quandaries out of the minds of those wishing to find you that perfect present. You can also send along recommendations and a list of our products that you would like to receive as a gift.
Your Terms And Conditions Of Use
As part of our service, we agree to provide you with information and other services that we may decide to offer, subject to the terms of this agreement. Upon notice published through this service we may modify this agreement at any time. You agree and continue to agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policies and guidelines outlined below. By using this service, you agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this website.
Limitation Of Liability And Warranty
You agree that use of the service is entirely at your own risk. Perfectsentiments.ca shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if perfectsentiments.ca has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This site and the materials and the products on this site are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In the event that a perfectsentiments.ca product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, perfectsentiments.ca reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Perfectsentimens.ca reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, perfectsentiments.ca shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by perfectsentiments.ca without notice at any time, for any reason.
